hello, i'm yash

i’m a software engineer at First Solar. my favorite part of building is the beginning: a rough idea, a few people, and the first version that makes you think, “oh, this could be something.”

that’s what draws me to startups and small teams. i like being close to the thing i’m making, figuring it out as i go. nyc or sf someday, hopefully. for now, there’s plenty to build.

away from the keyboard, there are photographs to take, cats to be distracted by, and a japan trip that gets a little more ambitious every time i plan it. this is where i keep some of what i make and notice along the way.
